I'm not able to install either version, because the installer says I need to install version 10.10.0 first. I have downloaded both the OS X 10.10.1 and OS X 10.10.5. When Mac OS X shipped with the 4K78 build number displayed in the 'About this Mac' dialog box, speculation was rampant: was Mac OS 10. In 2013, Apple broke tradition again by launching OS X 10.9 Mavericks. But as Mac OS Xs release date crept closer, and no new (legitimate) builds appeared on the net, worry set in. I currently am running Version 10.8.5 on a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 Mac with 8 GB of RAM. Apple then released updated versions of OS X labeled with cat-related names like OS X 10.0 Cheetah and OS X 10.1 Puma. Cheetah proved to be a rocky start to the Mac OS X line, plagued with missing features and performance issues, although it was praised for still being a good start to an operating system still in its infancy, in terms of completeness and overall operating system stability. I am trying to update my Mac OS X software to 10.10.0. Mac OS X introduced the new Aqua user interface and a completely new system of memory management. It contained a brand new code based completely separate from previous Apple operating systems. Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah was the next generation of Macintosh operating system and the first major update from classic Mac OS. This software gets the last update (10.0.4) on June 21, 2001, and later has been replaced by a newer version of Mac OS X 10.1 Puma. The system has been released on March 24, 2001, and was available for $129 or was preinstalled on currently sold computers. The Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah is an operating system that was designed, developed, and sold by Apple in 2001 alongside Appleās personal computers.
